When acting in a supervisory role, they are authorized to warn divers who fail to comply with safety regulations and, if required, prevent them from participating in a dive. They bear primary responsibility for the safety of the divers under their leadership. CMAS 3 Star Divers may conduct and lead dives to a maximum depth of 30 meters. Under the direct supervision of a diving instructor and for training purposes, they may participate in dives up to 42 meters.

3T3 – Underwater Search and Rescue

3T4 – Compressor Operation
Fundamentals of compressor systems, air quality standards, maintenance procedures, and operational safety.
3T5 – Problem Management
Identifying, preventing, and resolving diving-related problems before and during a dive.
3T6 – Group Dive Organization
Planning and managing group dives, risk assessment, diver supervision, and leadership responsibilities.
3T7 – Physics and Physiology Review
Comprehensive review of diving physics and physiology, including pressure-related effects and diving safety considerations.
3T8 – Diving Equipment Review
Detailed review of scuba equipment, maintenance requirements, troubleshooting, and equipment selection.
This advanced-level program is designed to develop leadership, safety awareness, rescue capabilities, and organizational skills, preparing divers for greater responsibility within the diving community.
