Tours
Our boat makes two cruises, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Our departure time from the port for morning diving is 10:00 AM. Our departure time in the afternoon is 03:00 PM. In both exits, you can go to two different diving points, unless the weather conditions prevent it. We also do daily diving tours as long as we announce in advance and weather conditions allow. When we leave daily, our departure time is 09.30 AM, our return is 05.30 PM, and lunch is provided on the boat. Between two dives, we try to make our divers see different places by stopping at Kaputaş Beach or Aperlai ancient bay as much as possible during the lunch and rest break. Divers dive in small groups, not exceeding five people, according to their level, and must be accompanied by an instructor.

Please arrive at our boat 15 minutes before the departure time.

Equipment

Equipment is one of the most important aspects of diving to which, divers must pay highest attention. Diving equipment must be high quality, well maintained and most definitely in accordance with defined standards. Carefully selected equipment is the key to prevent possible psychological and physiological difficulties, and to explore the beauties lying down in the sea. Selecting right equipment is a must and there is no room for ‘so-so’ equipment in diving.

Following the diving technology and scientific developments, is top priority for both a diver and a diving centre. Advancing technology makes diving more joyful and safe.

In equipment selection, appropriateness to the purpose is to be based rather than formative factors. It must be paid attention to be practical in selected equipment and its firmness as well.

The maintenance of the equipment after usage (washing with regular water, etc.) has not to be forgotten, and its authorised caretakers or expert staff must undertake its periodical maintenance. It must be kept in mind that, simple overlooking and lack of attention may lead to many negative results.

You may buy any equipment you need from naturablue SHOP.

You may leave safely your equipment on the boat during the period you join for diving. Your equipment will be kept safe by our crewmembers on board, so you’ll be free of carrying all under the sun.

Historical Basis

The fist traces of settlement in Kas area go back to 8,000s BC. Area was the host for Lycian Civilisation in ancient times and was an important settlement throughout the history.

Habesos is the most ancient name of Kas ever known. Later, it was called as Phellos (Rocky/Stony Place) and its harbour area was called Antiphellos. During the Roman time, its commercial importance grew and the area became a rich centre of commerce, an intersection point where olive, olive oil, vines and precious wood were sold and where goods belonging almost every culture were exchanged.

Evidencing this assumption are the diversity of goods found in Uluburun Wreck, which is known today as the most ancient wreck ever. A real sized copy of Uluburun Wreck was re-constructed by Bodrum Submarine Museum’s experts and reached to Kas using the Bodrum-Cyprus-Alanya course in the summer of 2005. The vessel is currently open to visit at Kas.
